Hello all, Darth Chew here and I’d like to tell you about a night I had when me and my wife wanted something to eat. Well I believe that it has been a long time that I’ve enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich until today. My wife and I decided to have a bite for dinner but couldn’t for the life of us decide on a place. But, then I remembered hearing from my two friends Benjamin and Anthony that they tried a place named Bad Bob’s BBQ. And they enjoyed it very much. So I asked my wife if she was feeling daring and she looked at me and said “sure, why not.” So, after getting her approval of trying a new place I headed over to Nolana where I found the destination of our quest I pulled into the parking lot. And, before we knew what we’ve arrived and walked in there we were placing our order at the front counter while the football game was starting.

Now, I’m not a fan of football but the idea that it wasn’t blaring and the feeling of comfort that was slowly coming over me, made me realize that this is a place I’d come again. Of course if the food and service is good that is. And, good I must say it was. As well as the service was good the food was also as good and, with people like Alejandra taking your order I can expect good service every time I order.

Now speaking of the food I and my wife ordered two Big Hawgs (pulled pork sandwiches) and an order of BBQ Cheese Fries with our choice of meat. Which can be a topping of one of the following pulled pork, chopped brisket, or shredded BBQ chicken. Now our Big Hawgs came with a topping of slaw that is if you like it on the southern side. Now, if you don’t want it topped it can be placed on the side. The price for both my wife and I including one large drink was 21.78 which for a BBQ place it isn’t bad. They have other menu items but they have a sign that says they specialize in pulled pork so we decided we’d order that and see if it’s true. Which I must say they have a good reason to say they specialize in pulled pork.

Now for their other items I’d recommend you come on down to Bad Bob’s BBQ which us located on 100 East Nolana Suite 195 in McAllen, Tx and try a pulled pork sandwich. You won’t regret it. And, if there is one thing Darth Chew knows, and that is what is good and what is not when it comes to food. Till next time this is Darth Chew signing off and is going for some dessert.
