My Day At The Bean

Monday, December 7th, 2009
Today I must say was a very interesting day. I decided to join some friends at a local coffee shop. The name of this new Mecca where the iced coffee is not badly priced and the conversations are an interesting change from the diatribe of people bitching about weddings, boyfriends and the usual rantings (believe me the usual rantings can sometimes and most of the times get annoying) is named Moon-beans. This new place for me is a fresh change of pace compared to my usual nightly haunt. Don't get me wrong though I enjoy going to Chop on a nightly basis but sometimes and I say this lightly sometimes it's just a nice change to go somewhere where… Read More

The future of Our Society

R.F. Cisneros

I don’t know how you were raised but when I was growing up I used to hear the countless conversations with at the time were the adults and I was the young kid.  The conversations basically were about how that the children are the future of society.  And, that we need to grow up and be responsible and that we needed to better ourselves since the world was going to be left to us and that we needed to for lack of a better word “man up” in other words take our lives with responsibility and conviction and take the initiative.  And, this… Read More

Something To Think About

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009
In this day and age we see ourselves as people of purpose and worth.  But, sometimes we know that we are nothing but automatons creatures looking for our own self worth.  This is something that makes me wonder about how we see ourselves and what we think of what we do in our lives.  Do we even care about what we do?  Do we even care of what and how we get things done in our world?  I think we should but some of us don't.  We go along this world trying to make ends meat as some people say.  But, some of us do only enough to make it look like we are getting by.  We are given chances to progress but we take them for granted. … Read More

Strike one for E-Commerce

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008
You know what gets my goat. It's people who think that they are doing you a favor, by explaining or trying to explain about THEIR e-commerce business. I mean these people are adamant about it to the point of jumping up and down like a jack Russell fucking terrier. Like I have nothing else better to do than just hang out at my local Hastings because I am secretly waiting for some dumb ass to come out and say. "hey, I know you." and, I was like "yeah I know you as well." So the guy don't even ask me his name because I don't remember. I just know I recognized his face from somewhere I used to work with the guy. So there we were talking… Read More

My opinions on Dolly

Friday, July 25th, 2008
Well another storm has come and gone. And, I must say for a small category one bordering category two. I must say this. That this one was a mean lady. Who was on some bad PMS trip. I mean when looking at the path I think someone must of pissed of this little lady. It came in going up a little, then when it reached the center of the valley it took a turn towards us like it had a purpose. I sometimes think that these storms come randomly but, I think this time it had a reason and the reason was to disprove the mighty RGV bubble theory. You ask what is this RGV bubble theory? Well let me explain. The bubble theory is a joke my friends and I have.… Read More

The Wisdom of The Chew

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

There is not a day that I don't wonder what goes on with my friends. Why they do the things that they do. Why they allow themselves to wallow in the pool of self-pity. And, I have come to the conclusion that they enjoy wallowing in self-pity or they like the attention that it gets them. But, I am like WTF why complicate your lives so much and why do you allow others to complicate your lives so much. I know that I should not say certain things but I can't help but be concerned because my friends don't know how to handle certain situations the way they should be handled. I don't like telling anybody I told you so but I did tell you so. And,… Read More

What is he doing alone?

Friday, November 9th, 2007
What is he doing alone? Roel Cisneros There are times and I know what you are going to say before you do. But, the question comes to mind what does he do for that one and half to two hours he spends at that late night coffee shop. When you start to get these ideas you are already forming some of your own and if you are not careful you might get yourself in trouble. This is something that I know both partners have thought of but when you are married that is a whole different ball game all together. The question is why does he go out at night instead of staying home with his family. Well the question has been put out and here is my answer to this… Read More

Affairs and my opinions…hehehe

Sunday, June 24th, 2007
Hello all the Chew here and I have a little rant to go on about.  I was talking to the love of my life (no not myself of course but, not to far from the truth hehehe) You should already know who I am talking about.  Well we were talking and she asked me a question that acutally threw me for a loop.  The question was if I would ever leave her for another woman or man.  I sat there and thought about it because how do you answer that question?  I mean you answer no and they give you that look, like uh huh sure you wouldn't.  If you answer yes, they are like WHAT do you mean yes?  So basically it's a catch twenty-two if you don't know that… Read More

Noise Pollution

Friday, June 1st, 2007
It starts with a quick little bite to eat or maybe you show up with you friends. But, none the less you show up to spend some time with people you care and trust to be with. The evening starts with a mild conversation of this and that. How the Spurs game went the night before. How you day has been yadda yadda yadda. Then from the back of the room a small faint little bit of noise fills your ear. Slowly getting louder and beginning to cause strain to your ear drum. The rythmic banging and pounding of acoustic pitches and sounds slowly and carefully entering and causing havoc on your own sanity and some of your party as well. Your turn you head… Read More
